About The Five Limbs & Dainika Panchanga

A Panchanga is an ancient Vedic calendar and almanac that follows traditional units of timekeeping, presenting astronomical calculations in a precise mathematical form. 'Dainika' means daily.

Tithi: The lunar day representing the angular distance between the Sun and Moon (each 12°). Crucial for determining fasts, festivals, and sacred rites.

Nakshatra: The lunar mansion occupied by the Moon in the sidereal zodiac (13° 20' each). It deeply influences mental inclinations and day energy.
