Significance & Spiritual Meaning
Spiritual philosophy, inner meaning and eternal virtues
Kojagari Purnima, or Sharad Purnima, is the full moon of Ashwina, when Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped at night.
It is said that Lakshmi walks the earth on this night asking "Ko jagarti?", who is awake, and blesses those who are. The moon is at its brightest, and milk rice (kheer) is kept in its light.
